- Daephene16 years agoSeasoned AceDepends. Every family starts out in a starter home, but whether I remodel it as their needs change or just move them into a bigger place varies. My San Myshuno family moves a lot, just because I wanted to experience life in every quarter, and now live in the Old Salt House because I got tired of neighbors. Eventually they'll move to a penthouse in the generation that can afford it. The penthouse will end up being the sixth residence that branch of the family has lived in.
Meanwhile the Goths just moved once to Strangerville and will probably stay in that new house for generations.
I'd say most of my sims have lived in at least two different houses, occasionally three. - I expand more than I move.
- Sharooonia6 years agoSeasoned AceMy sims usually start off in a small house and then save for a bigger house so they probably only move once.
- Only once when I played a story of a family living in Del Sol Valley moving from Mirage Park to The Pinnicales after the parents became famous.
Otherwise my sims don't move. I put them in specifically chosen apartments/houses I like and want them to stay in forever. - In one of my saves, my main sim started out as a teen in a large home in Willow Creek. Once she graduated high school, she moved into a 1-bedroom apartment in San Myshuno. Eventually her boyfriend moved in with her, and they got married and had twins. They then moved to a much nicer 2-bedroom. When the kids became teens, they moved into a large 3-bedroom apartment. So, I guess 3 times.
I liked redecorating to reflect their change in social status and taste, and I liked choosing which furnishings and decor to take to the new home and which to leave behind. It added realism to my game. - They usually stay in the same house their whole life, the only times I move them is when I move their grown-up kids into their own house.
- I move once in a while, depends if it fits the story.
- I don't think my sims have EVER moved house.
- XxAirixX6 years agoSeasoned AceIt really depends on the type of game and the sims I am playing and some move as soon as they make more money and move into bigger and fancier homes. If I am doing a location aspiration, I would have them move to San Myshuno, Sulani or Strangerville, etc...
- dianed4856 years agoSeasoned AceIt depends. Usually I tend to build a house for them which they can’t afford with the starting funds so I’m forced to move them into a starter home just so I can motherlode their bank account and buy the new house.
