Since my 21-gen main save has so much stuff, it's actually stressful to move them. I've only moved them twice.
All the heirloom masterpieces on the walls have to be found and safely tucked in inventories. All the upgraded appliances that I don't want to replace have to be moved to the inventory. All the collection items that are not in the treasure chest have to be moved. All the plants have to be moved. The fish (stored in tanks to be used as fertiliser) have to be transferred to the refrigerator and then moved back into tanks to keep them fresh. I have a horror that I'm going to forget about something in the old house and lose it forever, or that I'll lose the things in my treasure chest or fridge.
I'm getting hives just thinking about it. I want to move my main save to Glimmerbrook, and it's going to be a full weekend project. It's not quite as bad as moving my real house (not something I'm likely to do again for years, thank goodness), but at least when I move my real house, the goal is to get rid of all the junk, not preserve it.
