For me:
1 TS2 - best in gameplay, tools, and creative potential - the best banana in the bunch
2 TS3 - lousy looking sims but really good otherwise, admittedly running it on a high-powered PC
3 TS1 - comparatively primitive but still ground-breakingly innovative, only real downer is the limited camera, typical for its era
4 TS4 - pretty, but looks aren't everything
