Pretty obvious Sims 4 takes a lot of it’s design inspiration from mobile games. Especially when it comes to live mode gameplay. The tone has shifted to be a more kid-friendly, family inclusive game, but even with that the underlying gameplay is pretty shallow and meaningless.
