- You would probably need something like TwistedMexi's T.O.O.L. (take objects off lot) mod for that: https://www.patreon.com/posts/t-o-o-l-11-15-31592360 if it's off lot. Otherwise, the dumpster is a gameplay object in Build/Buy so you can add it to a lot.
- OH WOW! I'm checking this one out for sure. Hopefully, it will work. I was placing objects out in the world by setting it as my sims head.
- burnished_dragonNew SpectatorWould be really nice to be able to edit some of the common lots off of houses (small playgrounds) too without having to use a mod. Maybe some day

How do you place objects off lot with that cheat?
@telmarina
I just set the object as head and them remove it when you got tot he location. It always made things big so I only used things to set up as decor for the bare area. Like the park area in Newcrest. If I can get this mod to work, I'll turn it into a community garden. Fill it up with harvestables.

@asimbsim thank your the advice. For now we already know that the voting board won't be in the other worlds besides Evergreen Harbor. I suppose dumpster won't be too. But let's wait for the best :)
Oh no, I'm sorry. I thought I heard that the voting boards would be in other worlds, so I assumed they'd add other changes to the communal areas too. But I was wrong - in other worlds sims vote using the postbox, so I doubt there'll be other additions :( We can still hope tho :#"crocobaura;c-17517948" wrote:

P.S. - once you hit save, the object stays in the location you put it even if you shut down the game. :smile:
Can we remove stuff that's already placed in the game?
Yup. With the tool mod, move them back to your lot, so they're considered part of the items on your lot, then delete them as normal through build mode.
I use that method to delete pre-placed items in the neighborhood like bathroom stalls and replace them with bushes in my historical gameplay.- crocobauraSeasoned Ace

Thanks. I might give this a try. :smiley: - Thank you @luthienrising ! I'll take a look at this mod. For lots i think itll be easy but i want to make the streets really dirty in some neighbourhoods of some worlds and also the festival areas in san myshuno (i think those are off lot...?).
