How to add objects to a neighborhood common area?

Oh no, I'm sorry. I thought I heard that the voting boards would be in other worlds, so I assumed they'd add other changes to the communal areas too. But I was wrong - in other worlds sims vote using the postbox, so I doubt there'll be other additions :( We can still hope tho :#

Yup. With the tool mod, move them back to your lot, so they're considered part of the items on your lot, then delete them as normal through build mode.

I use that method to delete pre-placed items in the neighborhood like bathroom stalls and replace them with bushes in my historical gameplay.
