How to add the sims of your choice to the Stuck-In-Their-Shadows; New-In-Town; Parents etc Scenarios
How to add sims of your choice to the Stuck-In-Their-Shadows; New-In-Town; and Parenting Predicaments scenarios:
So 3 new compelling scenarios dropped yesterday, 8/30/22. I thought that they look kind of like fun, and I had just the sims and families I wanted to try them out with! But then I realized that the scenarios add EA Maxis made sims to the scenario. With no opportunity to change their appearance, gender choice, or traits! You would have to do these later with cheat codes
That bummed me out.
But what if there is a workaround?
After some experimenting, I found one!!
First off, these sims are actually pretty cool looking with interesting personalities. I really do like them

But, I like to design, and make my own sims to play, and I know there are lots of fellow simmers who do as well.
You will not need any special cheat codes or mods to do this. So it should work for PC/Mac/Console
Here’s How To Do It:
Load up your Game as Usual. Make sure the game you want to play is currently active. Select the scenario you want to try out. https://i.imgur.com/IWxbgvd.png

It automatically sent me to this screen, that’s Farah Nouvell in the corner there. https://i.imgur.com/exBgsTZ.png
Pick a lot. Daisy Hovel will do nicely for this case https://i.imgur.com/cTxOx7g.png

Go back to the Manage Worlds mode. Make sure to click “Just go to Manage Worlds” https://i.imgur.com/nUe3Cfm.png
Click on Farah’s household, and edit in CAS https://i.imgur.com/9ZF67bI.png
Once you are loaded up in CAS, click the light bulb button (Gallery/Library). Pick a sim you want to add to Farah’s household. Gender choice, occult status or appearance does not matter. The only thing that does matter are the Age group and Number of Sims (so replace 1-YA for 1-YA or 2 YA and 2 children for 2-YA and 2 children, etc). I just picked a random alien dude my game generated that I gave a makeover a long time ago, Alien Guy. His name is Noe Looney, that was the name the game gave him lol. He’s a fun sim to play. Now you need to delete the original sim. Sorry Farah, but you gotta go. The scenario won’t work with 2 sims. https://i.imgur.com/ksjMGBe.png

Lets see if that worked. Click the giant check button to save and play. Then Go back into Live Mode to make sure he’s still alive and kicking.
