This is so true and sometimes it's infuriating. I want to see drama in the game and it's disappointing the only drama happens when there's a fire, someone freezes to death which doesn't happen much anymore and well, that's actually a good thing or the 3 seconds someone's feelings get hurt because of flirting.
I want to see barfights or something. Like a guy flirts with another guys girl and instead of the guy getting mad at his girlfriend he actually gets mad at the guy flirting and they get into a bar fight. They start shoving each other, speaking in angry Simlish, they break out into a big furious dust ball of a fight, then suddenly a bunch of sailors come in, join the fight, there's furniture flying and bottles breaking. That would so awesome! Instead we get "I'm so sad because that guy flirted with her. Doesn't she love me anymore?" Which doesn't even make a bit of sense and I'm left pounding my forehead on the keyboard while they're having a big happy conversation and becoming the best of friends in the whole, whole wide world.
