I’ve always been kinda capricious with swapping between families and Seasons hasn’t changed that. I ended up swapping to a much longer lifespan so I have to micromanage (macromanage?) less with longer seasons. I do send sims home more with MCCC if the weather stinks.
It is nice to have a ton of holidays though so I have a semi natural swapping point for households. Even if I want to play a certain family during a holiday, I can still schedule some get togethers in before swapping.
