I could move the files out of tray folder on my PC temporarily and replace them with the try folder from my laptop, save my sim and house to my library, then delete that tray folder and replace it with the original one from my PC. You can't save it to your library, because then it'd be removed when you replace the tray again. You'd need to add them to the game, save it, and then swap the folders back. Then you can go and save the sim or the house to your library.
Okay, I thought my Library must have been linked to the Tray folder since there wasn't a Library folder. I'm too tired to think straight right now, but if I'm understanding correctly, my saved games are separate from the Tray Folder? So removing the Tray folder won't affect my saved games, correct? If that's the case, then that would be easy enough to do. I'll have to wait until morning though to try it. Thanks for your help!
Yes, items in the library are all in the Tray folder. Saves are stored in the saves folder. Your saves won't be affected by swapping the trays. :)
