1) shift-click crib containing baby and "set as head".
2) save and exit.
3) reload. The head-crib will now be in the house, and so will the original crib, but both empty. Baby will no longer be part of household
4) delete both cribs in build mode. Baby problems over.
This only aggravates the fact that babies in TS4 are just mere dumbed down objects, how #sad. - GalacticGal9 years agoLegendCan't you just delete the baby/object? Or what happens if you put baby/object bassinet in your Sims' inventory? Wait, what am I typing! :open_mouth: I'm pro-Life Seriously, if your Sims has a baby that your Sim cannot properly care for, just move baby/object into another unsuspecting household through Manage Households. You could even make it one of your neighbors. :p That way you don't have to put up with baby/object screaming at 3AM. Don't mind me, I'm in mourning.
- The game won't let you delete a crib that has a living baby associated with it. Mind you, I did make several deletable zombie babies using the set as head method. You can duplicate ad-nauseum and all the menu options are available on all the clones apart from "age up " which can only be used on the original live baby/crib

- Snurfles9 years agoNew AdventurerI know I'm not the first to say this but the title of this thread -- things that make you go hmmmm.......
- Here is a 100% proof rate to get rid of the baby, step one - don't have a baby. SIMPLE

OR one of the many ways shown in this thread. That simple."IngeJones;d-896534" wrote:

You don’t have to do just that! If the baby is crying, shift click the bassinet, it’ll show a blank one! It will take the baby away!
