How to get rid of your baby - quick tutorial

1) shift-click crib containing baby and "set as head".
2) save and exit.
3) reload. The head-crib will now be in the house, and so will the original crib, but both empty. Baby will no longer be part of household
4) delete both cribs in build mode. Baby problems over.

  • Aging up the baby and then deleting the toddler via household management removes it from the family tree. Doesn't require exiting the game.

Without context, this thread's title is ever so slightly worrying.

    With context, it's even worse.
  • Yeah, I find kids to be the least provoking in this game. Never felt an urge to get rid of them - until they reach teenhood. Then they become a different species, malproportioned, self-absorbed and often unworthy of existence in my games. The teen stage is the worst IMO. That's when offspring go from cute to hideous, often not bearing any resemblance to their former self whatsoever. /rant sorry

I read this thread's title at first as "how to get rid of your body"
