How to keep wanting to play the game without the new DLC?

This is kind of a silly discussion lol. I really want Horse Ranch but i’m not able to get it for another 2 weeks. How can I stay motivated to play the game until I get it?

I’m always like this when new packs come out and find it hard to play the game without it 😂 but this is the longest im having to wait to buy a pack that I want (im very fortunate that 2 weeks is my longest wait I know).

Do any of you get this feeling as well, and what do you do in the game to keep you invested until you get the new pack you want? I have all packs other that Battu, so I dont have a lack of content to play. I just find the motivation and coming up with an idea hard.

    Do a challenge. That’s what I do when I get bored and can’t think of a storyline. I like to do the Asylum Challenge in particular when I get bored of playing families.

    And then when my inmate is finally free, I end up using them to found yet another family, lol.

    Thanks everyone for the great ideas!

    I ended up deciding to focus on things from packs i havent explored properly or for a long time. So I made a couple who live in copperdale (havent played in that world before) where one of them wants to run a vet clinic (havent done that since C&D came out) and the other is going to be into fabricating and juice fizzing (never done those).to make s living. I’m also going to have them eventually have kids and play through growing together more and maybe have one of them “accidentally” become an occult sim since ive never really played with occults much.

    So its a very strange mix of gameplay but hopefully that will keep it interesting ?
