How to make 1 sim move out while the rest stay

I thought it would be similar to moving in. You click on move and I would think that the split window should show up giving you the option to choose specific sims to move out. I wish the divorce option would be like ts2. Once they divorced one of them bags are packed on the sidewalk. Then to the Sims bin. Or maybe find another place

When you are playing with a family, it should be in the same menu where you have "save, settings..." (right top of the screen)

From within the manage worlds screen, select the house your sims live in and click the bottom button (the one that shows 3 dots). This expands the list of options and the very bottom one there is "manage household". From there you can split the household up however you wish.

The method for this is unnecessarily complex.

Go Manage Worlds, click the household in question, and in the little radial of tiny buttons, click More. You should see "Manage Household". That's where it's done.

It's pretty stupid, to me. Why can't they just move out via phone? Oh well. Minor problem, really, but it seems like a minor fix, too.

Do you guys mean there isn't a way to click on the Sim to break up, and leave? Bummer. Too complicated. In TS2 if you want them out you just go to the PC and click move out.

Right? I love TS4. But there are a few weird little design decisions that just make me scratch my head.

There is definitely a way to break up, but I'm thinking they just don't move out when that happens. My sim had an awkward conversation with her boyfriend and got the breakup option.
