How to make children fun

Have you tried creating clubs for children centered around different activities? Or building lots that are ideal for children? One idea I have is to make a board game cafe with games like chess and Don't Wake the Llama, and then have the ice cream machine too. And then make clubs where that's their hangout area. I've yet to build it as I've gotten distracted with another challenge but it's still something I plan to do. But I think if you have GT, you could see how far that system can go to enhancing your gameplay, as well as using the Group sims action so Sims do things together. I think often with TS4 you have to think beyond what the game gives you, or rather look at what the game has given you, and try to figure out how multiple pieces can make the game run the way you want it to.
