How To Set the Number of Days to Reflect Age Differences
I wanted my Sims' children to be about one year apart. I play on Long. So how many Sim-days should they be apart to reflect the year(s) between them?

One full year is a full cycle through the seasons. I suppose you could have them be born whenever next season is, but given the limited lifespan, and that a pregnancy is 3 days, then I guess a full year equals to 4 sim days.
I play on Long. So if I change seasons from 14 days to just 7, maybe cycling through all four might work. I'm just worried I can only take one Teen through high school at a time. This is really messing with my play-style. LOL
