How to use Outdoor Retreat and make it interesting?

My sim, Johnny Zest Landgraab, was bitten by a vampire and lost his memory. He found himself alone, wandering around OR. Learned herbalism there, and came back. Started a hippie commune in that little Get to Work 4-lot area. He clones his herbs and sells them.

Meanwhile, his brother was happy to take advantage of the situation, by moving in with Johnny's wife, Summer Holiday, and getting her pregnant.
