I really wish that just one lot could be changed to a rental lot. (Not the entire neighbourhood - or world as some folks call it). I'm making only 1 lot a rental, and I'll have 2 households who live there; when I'm playing those households I won't have the mods installed (so Sulani functions as a normal world), but when I want some of my other households who live in WC to holiday there, I'll put the mods back in and off they'll go on holiday.
You could do the same?
That's a PITA though. :* I never know who I am going to play or rotate to at any given time.
I'll just use generic for vacationing sims and deduct from their household. Much easier.....
I will give this a try, fullspiral. I have already built a vacation 'rental' that has 3 bedrooms and is versatile enough for all my families. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it will work out for my Sims who will continue living in their own areas but need a lovely vacation spot where they don't have to do anything but bake in the sun. :)
I have generic lots in every world for my sims who travel. I use them a lot and they serve the purpose well. It will be the same in Sulani for those that don't live there, but want a holiday there when I rotate to them.
