How would you rate the sims4 after 5+ years. Would you recommend it to new players?

I am able to enjoy the game while playing but I feel as though there is still quite a bit of work that could be done on the game. There are also a few too many bugs in the game for my liking (hopefully whenever they release the eco lifestyle bug patch it fixes the majority of the bugs that came with the pack).

Personally, I'd like to see more added to the current game instead of new systems. For example: flesh out kids and teens more, enhance Sims personalities, etc. Just my opinion for what I would enjoy with my game play.
