Same thing happens to my sims, too. My sims can never be a player for long.

When I played the black widow challenge, I got attached to Esteban's first wife. :D I was like "Yeah, you've got to stop doing that if we're going to get through 10 of them..."

lol I have that issue too sometimes, one sim I just let be the end after raising two families right next to eachother with two guys that hated each other.

What I do, is have a womanizer stay that way till he hits middle adulthood, then I let him marry a YA female sim. Kind of like real life men like Warren Beatty.

I have no problem being a womanizer or manizer? in the game. Black widow/widower, or just serial romantic. Sometimes I dislike it when they get the urge to get married though when they have the serial romantic aspiration and I have them set up in my head as someone that would never in a million years think that. I don't always want to give them the non-commital trait either cause that works with jobs and relationships.

I haven't had any problems with this either. I usually give the Sim a best friend for all the 'emotional' stuff. :D

Oh, I love having Shinya be a womanizer of sorts. Whenever he meets someone new and things become more frequent, he ALWAYS has the "fear of commitment" talk. In a sense, that is me using my imagination for him to tell him. “I enjoy spending time with and want to spend more valuable time with you, but don’t expect or hope that you’ll ever be the only one my mind.” type of speech. Heck even the ONE time I did finally marry him off to Candy, he still just couldn’t keep it his pants. They fought all the time because he was highly tense coming home from work. After a day of working from home doing some social media tasks, he went to the bar and ran into his exboyfriend Reeve and ended back up at Reeves before heading home. Both the nanny and the maid seduced Candy resulting the nanny got her pregnant and Shinya got it on with Gage in the bathroom at club. So yeah, I just can’t play a drama free game. Yet, IRL I detest drama and will avoid at all costs when possible.

If you give him the noncommittal trait he won't want to stay with one sim for too long anyway, maybe that will help you get back on track? :smiley:
