I can't find my sims whims anymore please help

Whims are optional now. You can turn them on in Gameplay Settings.

not sure where yo put this did we lose the whims above the sims head since new patch , if so how do we get points now? as my sims are not showing thought bubbles for whims

New players will likely not even realize that's an option. And it's always been part of the sims, so I don't get it.

Hmmm, I wish they'd just add more appropriate whims. They managed to do so in Sims 2 and 3.

Likely because of all the complaints of repetitive whims. Buy a 1x1 pool. Buy a dishwasher ( even if the sim has one) etc.

Yeah it makes no sense. What if you are new to the game...how would you know whims exist if you can't see them in the first place? Hmm.
