I cant get the timer to work on the tripod

Okay so I sent my sim to Sulani and grabbed a couple, grouped them up so I could control them a little better. Then I walked them to a spot that looked okay. Set out the tripod and camera then again made them come where I wanted with the group actions. Then I selected take picture of with no marks and started taking pictures. I'm not saying it's easy if you want certain weather or the sun to be behind them or an exact location because there could be routing issues or other reasons ... sometimes I can't set down the tripod where I want it for instance, but shots on the beach are very doable.

I'm using my screenshot folder so again those last two shots will come in cropped and I can add effects to them later.

I got the winner. I took them to one of the empty residential lots I have in this save. I did have to make them change AGAIN. Then I had them walk in group everywhere with my sim. While she was setting up the tripod ect, because they will change into bathing suits or wander off. (Also just a tip. When placing the tripod in world walk up to where you want it to be facing the other way then place it in world. Just test that out... a few times you'll get it quickly.)

I've also thought of trying the interactive waterfall with sims in front of it and the flirty waterfall in Selvadarado.
