I sometimes have the opposite problem. When I sent sims from one household to a community lot, sims from other of my played household visit that community lot, too. When I then switch to another household, some of the sims might be found in the street with no obvious clue to why they are there.

The invitation to the party is the part that I'm missing.

I"ve never had an invite.

I've been playing the teens pack a while and haven't had a single Sim invited to a college party so I could get that aspiration. I read somewhere that it was a common issue, and somewhere else that you need to have both the window and the rebellious ivy trellis to even get the option. I have both, and it still hasn't happened. :(

Same, I only ever had an invite once when I first got the pack. No more since then though.

@phantasmkiss you don't need the window or trellis, you can just click on the ground for the "sneak out" option. It becomes available after the invitation to a party happens.
