Usually I try to get them to like me by giving them pie (works more often for me but not always). Anyway if they dislike my sim they often get struck by lightening if they try to appease them and things break. I would probably delete them in a family bigger than 2 but I enjoy them... especially if I'm starting a sim out and they need a garden. I put them in a holiday gathering early just to get the seeds. Then I sell all the ones that hate my sim off... sometimes I sell the ones with flames over their head off before the day is over.
