I don't understand the Freelancer career.

Eh, to me you're right. They could have added a third option as freelancer under the already existing artist, tech guru and writer branches. It would have the same purpose but be organized better. Things that would have made sense under freelancer that don't have existing branches would be photographer or carpenter (woodworking) for example. Potentially a baker where you don't want to run a store but sell directly, a gig to cook certain goods.

I wonder if they'll add more options under freelancer in the future or split it for a 3way branch in existing ones
