Why on earth did they design it so that when a werewolf is on a rampage, they CAN'T DO ANYTHING? I mean, they can't interact with ANY objects. I'm playing vanilla right now so it can't be that I have ...

It isn't that you can't control them; you can, but the things they can do are severely limited. The first time my guy turned into a werewolf he happened to be REALLY hungry, and had to wait until the rage was over before he could eat.
