I live in an area that rains much of the time even in the summer, so, to be honest, I personally don't need the rain or snow in my game. I always felt it rained too much in Sims 3 even during summer, and I would end up turning it off. As realistic as it was, I also didn't like that plants went dormant for much of the time as well. But I am looking forward to the new gameplay of Seasons and I'm sure it will create some stunning new visual landscapes, so even if I don't need seasons in my game, I'm looking forward to the expansion in Sims 4.
