I like the atmosphere that seasons create. I like that I can live a white winter vicariously through my sims.
I do wish, though, that they'd add an element of danger, with some of the wild weather we get in my part of the world, with dust storms, and dry lightening causing fires (with no rain to put them out).
I liked the weather in ts3, I liked that you could choose the seasons. Most sim players are control freaks, being able to dictate what sort of weather out dollies experience is part of improving the immersion.
Who doesn't like stepping on crunchy leaves and splashing in puddles?
