I want seasons because it brings more realism and is more immersive. It is really boring that is always sunny but not hot and it feels weird to have some sims wearing jumpers, jackets, and boots and other sims wearing tank tops, shorts, and sandals with no consequences.
Also, as @Cellardweller mentioned, there is no difference between indoors and outdoors a the moment. The other day for example, I built a house and forgot to add a ceiling to one of the bedrooms but since there is no difference, my sims didn't notice and nothing happened so I didn't notice until waaaay into the game session.
There are also a lot of weather related activities that would/should come with seasons. I love outdoors activities and having more things to do in a group or as a family in the game.
