I want it because of weather and hopefully holidays. I loved having the holidays so I could hold a family gatherings or visit the festivals.
I personally thought seasons in Sims 3 were excellent. The leaves gradually budding on the trees, the fogged windows in winter, the shimmer of heatwaves in the summer, the cars and bikes kicking up snow as they move along the road, the festivals..I could go on but you get the idea. Sims 3 rain was excessive but after a few times through spring and fall the rain tapered off a bit to a more normal state, at least it did for me.
