Both of my Sims want to try for baby, but I've set aging off so that I can wait until the Infants drop. I don't want a huge gap between their kids. Jamison came first and I think he was just days off of becoming a child (hard to remember when you can't check). I timed it so that he aged up to toddler just a few days prior to the twins being born.I just checked in on Erik. He was at a concert and then a photoshoot in the early hours of Saturday morning. His energy went yellow, so I sent him to bed. When I checked to see how rested he was I caught him dreaming. The thought bubble had a baby bottle in it. I feel mean.

I put my game on pause until we get infants. My sims are ready with a newborn on hand to age up to an infant. Sad that it’s been over a month since they were revealed but we still know absolutely nothing about them??

That’s not mean! Erik is an adult and patience is a virtue! He’ll just have to wait a while longer until he gets what he wants. We all do. We all do. Plus, Erik is lucky, he WILL have his little infant eventually. He had it before. A couple of times I believe. He can’t be getting all impatient now just because he’s a temporarily immortal celeb. Come to think of it, he’s been given a considerable amount of leeway to mull things over. I wish we were all that lucky. I believe it’s good - in fact, HEALTHY- that he still has dreams and that he can dream about them. That’ll keep him on his feet. The family will be grand. No need to feel guilty. ?Perhaps we could add “time” to the word “mean”. For example, in the meantime Erik could organize a concert to celebrate the unborn infant, or dedicate a couple of songs to the child. Maybe it’ll arrive sooner then?

It's not mean. My sims have five young adult kids and Connor is a year away from becoming an elder, their kids are constantly getting calls from their parents saying that they are thinking about trying for a baby. If I didn't start saying no they'd probably be at baby ten by now :D

Infants should be fun, but I hope they don’t mess with existing Sims’ ages like what happened with the HSY patch. I don’t mind waiting particularly. I may well start a little test save when they are released so I can get used to gameplay.

I saw a tweet on Twitter wherein they showed us some of the stuff for the Infants and then asked what we would like to see added. I wish now, I had copied the URL.

@GalacticGal - No, it's not mean. I have a werewolf couple that I want to have contribute to the wife's (completed 100 baby challenge) long family lineage, but they'll have to wait till infants, I think. They'll have time to work on the Moonwood Mill mystery, though.

Lol….. I have had my main rotational save with aging off for a long time, for one reason hoping we would get an update for the babies already in my game. Is the baby dream new or has it been in the game for family oriented sims?

Most of my Sims are generally family-oriented. This just happened to be the first time I caught Erik with that dream. I panned over to him because it was almost New Year's Eve evening and I didn't want him to sleep through it.

That's interesting. I was just thinking about the aging thing, too.
