I found a Wild Grow Fruit tree

Simmers have posted in this link thread where they have found cherry trees. I hope that one of the areas still has cherry trees growing in your game. Try going to Sylvan glade also to see if cherries are there.

The cherry tree is in Oasis spring next to an unoccupied house (it's behind the playground), it doesn't become harvestable and there is no way to take care of your needs while you wait for it, so I recommend just making sure you can take a trimming from it and buy a grill to use on the property lot that you visit! You can eat at the park.

Not sure if anyone has noticed this, but the Wild Growfruit Tree in my game looked like a bush???

I didn't see any wild Growfruit trees until I happened to go to the Landgrabb residence in Oasis Springs. My guy went there not to visit, but just to be able to search around the area. All around the outside of the Landgrabb lot I saw little plants that were "baby" Growfruit trees. I'll have to send my guy back there again to see if they've matured yet.

I haven't found any wild trees though I did check all these lots being mentioned. I found Jasmine and started growing my own tree but it hasn't given any fruit yet. I tried taking a cutting and adding it to another tree, but that tree doesn't show it (even though it took the cutting) and after shrinking then regrowing my growfruit tree still hasn't produced any fruit. I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong?

That tree in my game is Growfruit too. All the cherry trees are. There are still a couple of lemon trees here and there - I found one in the park I was able to take a cutting from but no cherry trees. If you ever get tied to a lot again and you want to be able to keep your needs full, remember you can buy a tent if you have Outdoor retreat. I had to stay at Forgotten Grotto forever fishing trying to get a dang Wolf Eel - I made an herbal remedy to keep clean, ate harvestables and used the public toilet. Took like 4 days but I got it. lol.

@rosemow Nope, all growfruit. Not a cherry tree to be found anywhere. I searched the gallery and someone made a room with only a lemon/cherry tree in it for $84 Simoleons. Sold! I like to play honest so I hated having to go that route but I since still won't be able to harvest until it fully matures, I don't feel too bad. My Sim is desperate. The wishing well granted my teen Sims wish for love but she's a teen ghost. lmbo. Love it!! He's working on getting his cooking skills up so he can make the ambrosia and bring her back but I need the cherry to get the death flower.

I am sorry that you have not been able to find cherry trees in your game. It is a helpful workaround to use the room from the gallery. Perhaps just think of the plant as a gift that another simmer has given to your sim as a present for a birthday.

Do the cherry trees show as growfruit? I just find trees that say cherry, lemon, apple, pear etc except for my one growfruit tree from the seed Jasmine gave. Still no fruit after several sim days, either. I also tried splicing with no luck. I'm wondering if my game has a problem though I completed eggs just fine

No your game doesn't have problems .I have the grow fruit from Jasmine and I do not have a fruit yet and I feel jipped .I also spliced it still nothing it does glow though .EA needs to do something if having no fruit is a bug
