@djacquelynstew, thank you for understanding both sides and for accepting my apology.
I think I'm going to start using the mods again and start taking a different route when child sims are upset about their unwanted siblings. Like getting the adult sim to calm the child down or even having the child take a "time out" on their beds the way I do when toddler sims are angry.
I agree that the game is watered down more then the other games, but I also agree that some of it was needed because between sims 2 and sims 3 I killed four computers just from the expansions alone. Two computers each.
