I get paid today, help me decide which pack to buy :)

I guess it depends on what you are looking for in a pack. For me I tend to lean towards family play and family activities, so Parenthood, Get Together, Outdoor Retreat, Kids Stuff were must haves for me. But I also like playing with single sims and exploring and experimenting with them so City Living, Get Together, Vampires and Get To Work were fun. I have different saves for different moods. In one save I have a single sim who I want to be a scientist and go exploring, in another save I have an evil vampire, I have a legacy save and I've also just created a simself save. So it really depends on your moods and playstyle :)

City Living is my favorite so far! I love the apartments and the festivals. I also like the new parenting one that they just put out a while ago. You should definitely get that if you are into family playstyle.

I think City Living can meet a players needs whether a family player or single sim player. Anyone can live in an apartment and enjoy the festivals. It's definitely my favorite EP. Get Together is good to for both player styles, as you can create kids clubs or adult clubs and everything in between. But, as for my gameplay, I don't use clubs all that often and I detest the game created clubs and most sims that are in them. Thankfully, the constant calls asking me to join "such and such" club has seemed to really slow down. I only like creating my own clubs. There are good perks to the clubs. I don't care much for GTW, so I won't even mention it, as I have nothing really good to say about it.

If you are even a little bit of a family player, I highly suggest Parenthood. It brings so much to a players game. Dine Out is good, too, but running a restaurant is a headache, but I really enjoy my sims getting to go out on dates or family gathering to eat. Spa Day is great. One of my favorite packs released. The CAS and BB items are amazing and I love Yoga and pampering my sims for a weekly treat. Outdoor Retreat is my least favorite, only because it's a hassle to customize the camping sites (cabins, etc) and I always find something lacking or missing when I have sims rent the cabins but it does have good play-ability when you want to give your sims a couple days away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. I love that even the kids can go and have vacation days from school for it.

First, buy your games at www.cdkeys.com . The bundles there are cheaper. Your $50 will go a longer way. You'll just need to verify on your first purchase, but they're legit.

As for packs, I love the ones I have right now. It really depends on what you like. I recommend getting at least one EP and one GP bundle that comes with 2 SPs.

For EPs, I have Get Together and City Living. I love the nightclubs in Get Together; they remind me of Nightlife in Sims 2, and that was fun. The club system is also nice, since it's very versatile. City Living's apartment life is fun, and the festivals are too. Karaoke is also a nice touch.

If I had to recommend one, I'd say get Get Together first. It has good value, and the new world Windenburg is pretty big as well.

For GPs, I have Spa Day, Dine Out, and Parenthood. I like them all too. I love having my sims dine out, and running a restaurant is fun too. Parenthood adds a lot to family play if you're into that. It's also fun to have sims go to the spa, and you can also have them do yoga and meditation.

I'd recommend getting Dine Out or Parenthood first, depending on your preference. And make sure you get the bundle so that you also get some SPs, if you like.

For SPs, it's really just a matter of preference. Each one appeals to specific interests. But I like Backyard and Kids Room the best. The water slide, puppet theater, and Void Critters are fun additions.

If you're really into family play I would definitely recommend Parenthood. It's my favourite game pack so far :smile:
Other GP's I highly recommend is Spa Day (the soundtrack alone of that is gorgeous) and Dine Out (running a restaurant is really fun)

As for expansion packs all three of them are good but my favourite is City Living and Get Together a close behind depending on what you really want. I wouldn't suggest to buy a Stuff Pack at first, they don't add that much if you want more game play. If you're a building person then SP's are great.

I recommend:
Game Packs: Spa Day, Parenthood, Dine Out and Vampires (but you have that one already :smile: )
Expansion Packs: Get Together and City Living

Personally I love City Living, I've always liked the apartments from previous sims games and I like that they've added lot traits to go with them. The festivals are also fun to go to, adds something a little different to the game :smile:

You should look into the GPs though as they're cheaper and add a fair amount of content for the price

I'd suggest Get Together or City Living, both added new fun elements to the game and if I was using your budget i'd buy both of those expansions and pass on the game packs for now. I'd advise against Get To Work though, I didn't find much replay value in the careers there and if you have few packs you probably want something that can be fun for a longer time.

Vampires is my favourite game pack and you already have it, but after that i'd suggest Dine Out. Parenthood seems to be very popular among the family orientated players, so if family is your thing go for that. I'd advise against Spa Day - I so rarely use it and rarely see discussion of it.

Whatever you do it is best to shop around for the best deals, in my experience Origin is very expensive.

It depends on what you might prefer, I prefer origin with the little cash cards no connection to bank accounts matters to me I don't like going outside of Origin so whichever you prefer you completely decide on your own. As for packs well City Living is good, Get Together is decent I often end up in Windenburg when moving sims around, I do love Parenthood but that might not be your thing, maybe Dine Out maybe check out some play throughs on youtube to see if the content would really be enjoyable for you.

I would definitely recommend Get Together! I personally felt like it added a lot of new gameplay to my game, without being restricted to only one thing, if that makes sense? :# The cas and build items are gorgeous as well, plus Windenburg is my favorite world so far <3

Also even though I don't own it yet, I've only heard great stuff about parenthood :) So if you like family play that might be something you could use?
