I recently started a specific save for messing about with different ideas rather than constantly creating new ones. Any surviving family members from previous ideas get to live their life out while I move on to other things, and I have all the usual lots I want/need ready to use. It's working well so far.
But I am probably going to make a separate save in an attempt to start the world from scratch.
