I Have a Bit of a Problem, My Sim Parents Won't Care For Their Infant

I'm growing concerned. For about five minutes I tried to get the mother to change the Infant's diaper. The baby is also hungry and tried. Dad came into the nursery, so I decided with all of the failed...

I haven't played with the infants lately, but seem to recall that people have said that it's better to select the infant as the active sim and then click on the caregiver to request feeding, diaper change, etc. (As opposed to having the parent as the active sim and queuing up interactions on the infant.)
