I'm growing concerned. For about five minutes I tried to get the mother to change the Infant's diaper. The baby is also hungry and tried. Dad came into the nursery, so I decided with all of the failed attempts, I'd have him give it a go. I selected Super-Efficient Baby Care and nothing. In the meantime, I selected give Infant a Bubble Bath, as he's clearly blown out his shorts. So, Mom simply picks up the Infant and places the really messy little dude on the floor. I saved and exited my game. Too frustrating to carry this on. I may have to resort to restoring his needs via MCCC, if this keeps up. I'm hard-pressed to understand just what has gotten into my Family Sims. Yikes. Any clues as to what I should do before I resort to cheating?Please, and thank you, in advance.

I would probably just cheat infants needs once and reset everyone so sims would stop glitchingif routing fails then teleport the infant / other sims somewhere elseit seems to me that once infants needs go too low they start autonomously summoning all sims to help themwhich leads to the infant hot potato game where sims keep giving infant to each other putting infant on the floor etc instead of getting even one dang interaction actually donealso if all needs are low its usually that the infant is too tired to do anything at all so even if its illogical i let them sleep little bit first before i attempt to fill other needsalso yes it might be good idea to lock your infants in tower with only one evil caregiver because the hot potato game gets in the way so muchbetter yet it might even be good idea to neglect the little bundle of joy completely and just lock them in that tower with Kyle and let autonomy do it all

Thanks for my much-needed Morning Chuckle. Took me a bit to recover from laughing so hard. (It did seem as if he was a hot potato. Kayleigh held him ever so briefly before setting him on the floor next to his crib. Then Erik did pretty much the same, although he actually placed him in the crib, to his credit. Made me think of my only daughter who has so many children and so young, who would holler "Baby on the floor." as a warning for the others to take heed.All is well, finally. I exited the game and went back several minutes later, after deleting LE's and the Localthumbcache.package. I did end up cheating Peter's needs, but the poor little guy ended up so grimy-dirty with a constant green noxious cloud around his middle, that I began to wonder if he was just too toxic for his parents to even touch. Oi! Two bubble baths later, he was finally changed, fed and down for the night, where he achieved the Slept Through the Night milestone.ETA: You know I keep hearing (reading) about this Kyle fella, and I have no source of reference. Who is he and why do so many speak unwell of him?

I generally cheat needs, as someone else said above - and if you use the mccc mod you can add a happy buff, then change the emotion intensity to very happy, it's super effective at keeping babies and kids in a good mood, and less needy. And if all else fails I use cas.fulleditmode and age up the kid lol. I've had parents like that too. It can be super frustrating.

Oh, believe me I tried that, too. Nothing was working. It was odd, because the day before when I played, I didn't have this problem at all. Thankfully, I followed the advice and exited my game.

Yes, it was so completely frustrating, especially since this set of parents are really into their kids. Erik is a Global Superstar, Rock Star in high demand, but he also realizes his kids will only be little for a short time. He's very hands-on, as a result.
