I have a question about the Tree of Emotion

I don't have Jungle Adventure, yet, but I will either be getting it later today or Friday. I have a sim who I use strictly for gardening. She does everything involving plants. So I decided to do a little reading up on this Tree of Emotions that comes with this pack, and have learned that it involves grafting, to get all the different berries on the one tree (I think). Do I plant a Tree of Emotions, and then graft to it the different berries, which involves planting those as well, or do I have to do something different. I hope this made sense. :)
