This story is all too familiar. When I was younger, I would play Super Mario 64 all the time, but whenever mario died. a red screen would pop up, and distorted music would play

I was so scared that I couldn't even look at mario, or even hear his name. I had a dream that I kept having where Mario would jump out of the TV and kidnapp me. A couple years later, my dad bought me Luigi's Mansion for Gamecube. Only problem was that when you would press a certain button, Luigi would cry "MARIOOOOO". I hated that
But one day I just kept pressing that button and kept hearing "mario" until it no longer bothered me, and eventually went back to playing mario games.
long story short, have the reaper show up in your game, have your sims talk to him. If you do it enough times your bound to get used to it.
