This would be a valid argument if the majority of the profit made from this game went to the workers as a reward for all their hard work, but we both know that's not how it is. The workers may be working for a paycheck, but the ones who benefit from all their hard work are the investors, not the workers.
Unless you think working 60-80 hours a week with very little time off is worth the paycheck, then I suppose you can justify EA's greediness, but it doesn't mean that the consumer is obligated to keep on supporting this model; and I think (in my opinion) that the consumer is entitled to expect to get some modicum of quality product for all the money they're expected to pour out in order to keep this franchise going.
After all, we MUST keep the investors happy, mustn't we?
