That's interesting! I have mixed feelings, I can kind of relate but at the same time I see why it is the way that it is. I think since the thirst need is so demanding (even without the weaknesses associated with it), it kind of justifies the other needs being a bit more forgiving. But it does take away from the fun micromanaging aspect since all you really have to manage is thirst.
I guess I hadn't noticed, since I tend to have a rather difficult playstyle with my vamp. With thin skin, insatiable thirst, and sloppy drinker, I can only imagine he'd have a hell of a time trying to survive if his other needs decayed more rapidly :D
