After a quick Google search to see what entablatures were, I finally realized what you're talking about. I never knew that was what they were called, I just always called it trim. :)
Have you tried putting a foundation piece under the roof to see if it made it more seamless? I don't usually do 2-story porches in my builds so I'm not sure how to really help without going in and recreating the build.
