I need to contact EA/Maxis about something VERY serious

i doubt EA will do anything in regards to third party content no matter how depraved and morally corrupt it might be.

You're best bet is to go to twitter and get ahold of SimGuruKate and let her know what you found.

But, I do have to agree with the poster above. I'm not sure how much they are gonna care about 3rd party content. It's not really endorsed or promoted by EA, so kind of a "if you don't like it, don't use it".

why do you go there where the seriously disturbing content is? I'm into adult content yet I have never seen anything disturbing.

If it is that disturbing - I am pretty sure someone else would have mention it, hopefully it isn't terrible as what I think it might be......

EDITED: Someone did complain about their child sim being invited by an adult sim as that child was asked to skip school. (so glad they fixed it at the end of the day - I hope you didnt get that experience in your game still!)

They're not gonna do anything about it. :D But if you see this kinda stuff on the Gallery or something, you can always report it.

Because it's CC they probably can't/won't do anything but if the webstie you found it on has a policy against such things perhaps you could report it to them?

If the website host permits it, there's probably nothing you can do. One person's shocking is another person's ho hum as usual. Unless the content actually violates laws, it is unlikely that anything you could say would get it taken down. Then there is the matter of which jurisdiction applies to the website where the content is hosted. EA doesn't police all websites of custom content - there are far too many of them to make this practical in any way. Unless the content is a direct threat to EA's bottom line, and more so than the cost of attorney's fees, there is no reason for EA to even file a lawsuit.

My advice to the OP is to let it go. Chances are, unless you go out of your way to find “offensive” content, you won’t stumble across it. There’s really no need to play watchdog for the entire community.

most of you did not give me any information. instead of telling me, "I don't think they'll do anything," please give me the information I asked for. do I know there might not be anything I can do? of course I do, but it doesn't help when you automatically push that down my throat. I know of some extremely disturbing content, and I want to contact someone about it to see what they have to say about so I know, it's not just to blindly report it. I hope you can see how unhelpful most of you were. I purposefully didn't explain the story, I asked a simple question, and I really don't need making me feel so bad about it. I mean, I didn't say, "hey, do you think EA will do something about this content?" NO. don't give me useless information, and don't waste my time. you have NO idea how serious this is, so if you don't have a way to contact them DIRECTLY, don't comment.
