I put L shaped stairs next to wall!
So I was building a new house and fighting with the L stairs to look how I wanted them. I somehow ended up moving the stairs next to the wall and was amazed because usually you have to have a 1 tile length space between it... Did anyone figure out this yet? I haven't seen it. So I decided to start something new and figure out step by step how to do it exactly. Decided to share. :)
Hopefully you guys can follow along with how I tried to describe things....

So yeah. And the roof goes on fine. So no struggle with that. I did have to play around with a lot of objects to try and get the upstairs railing done. I thought about putting a room divider behind a couch in the three empty spaces upstairs, but didn't actually test to see if a sim could then sit on the couch....But this worked out okay, I think. Also, there is going to be a slope outside the house where the stairs meet, so you'll have to be creative with terrain tools and landscaping.
I have so many ideas and things I want to try with this new knowledge! lol, And sorry if this has already been posted, I just got so excited!
Good luck! And happy holidays. ;)
