I sadly can't use the washing machines because my sims live on their business lot.

I think you should be able to use them on all lots. I haven't tried to use them any place but a residential lot so far, I didn't know you couldn't.

Well, i could technically do laundry but the sims don't leave any clothing piles

Well you're kind of supposed to bring the laundry to the lot, since you kind of need a hamper for the clothes to be magically placed in..?

I believe as I read what Graham said in another thread here is that laundry will not collect in any other place but on your designated home lot. So laundry will never collect in your owned business lot bc well, it's not your actual designated home lot.

I feel like someone will eventually make a mod for this :D
