I have never had an interest in Star Wars, especially the newer movies, but I think it might be fun to see what it will look like in The Sims 4 universe. I'm thankful it's something new (as in the TS series) and not a rehash as I won't have an idea of what it will bring or what it should include already (like with the forum favs like seasons, university or pets). Everyone has expectations on packs like those. This is new.So I'm looking forward to seeing what we can do in the pack. I won't read to much (I'll try) before I get my hands on it (which will be a while). So when the pack releases I'll probably not check the forum until I get it myself XDAre there anyone like me who might not be the biggest fan of Star Wars, or know much about it in general, but still look forward to see what this pack might bring?

This is the weirdest year for the Sims. It’s not to my liking and the game needs serious work, but I’m glad some are excited with it.

My opinion is definitely changing. There seems like a lot that can be in this pack. So far, the only factor I've not considered is world size. This IS a game pack! Unlike Eco LIving, which I felt would have been better as a GP, I wish this was an EP. I've watched the Star Wars films, from original trilogy to one of the more recent ones. Not religiously, however. I do own a few Star Wars action figures as well. First of all, it is something completely new. Since I'm not well-versed in Star Wars, I looked Batuu up on Wookiepedia. https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/BatuuWe are, most definitely getting droids. More robots that aren't Servos, and are most definitely more interesting. I see an Astromech droid, who appears to be R2D2, but purple instead of blue. Hopefully, C3PO is in there as well. The whole Jedi thing, meh. Lightsabers--oh yeah! Premades will probably be interesting. Looking at promotional material (and the email I just got), it looks like Rey and Kylo Ren will most definitely be in it. Despite not being in the same timeline (decades before, actually), I hope we get Padme Amidala. If not, I'll try to make her myself, along with Jyn Erso. Clothing. Looks good. I'm already seeing use for those boots Rey is wearing. While cosplay isn't something my Sims do, I think after I get this pack, my Sim is definitely going to Geekcon as a Stormtrooper. I like the pack so far from the trailer. Seems like a fun pack! I read that for the gameplay, we can choose sides! That's interesting!

I've come to the point of acceptance now. Acceptance that the Sims 4 is just never getting any better than it is. We're never going to get real babies or more family play. It's been a rough day but I finally reached stage five of grief for this game.

Maybe if you squint a little... you can see getting to Bakuu, getting knocked up by a Bith or Abednedo, getting back home and squirting out a half one-of-these-species and half human/vampire/regular alien/or merfolk (depending on what type of sim you brought) baby three days later as new baby and more family play?
