I thought I would run a little experiment by starting a new game

Since I started the game with everybody single and zero romantic connections. I have MCCC settings for 50/50 LBGTQ and straight (rather than my usual setting which is much higher), autonomous try bor a baby and autonomous marriage. I also kept the annoying celebrities and didn't delete them all except for Judith Ward. I really like Judith :)

Geoffroy Landgraab married Alex Moyer she adopted 2 kids before they got married and is pregnant with triplets. I didn't think I would like her but when I started the game I gave some new clothes and changed her hair and gave her Kijiko's lashes and glasses in my CC. She is very pretty. I never actually realised how pretty she actually is. Changed her traits keeping the materialistic trait added ambitious and custom trait business shark.

Mortimer Goth married Catarina Lynx

Bella married Marcus Flex

Mr Rocca from Partyhaus married Mitchel Kalani

Zoe Patel married an aged up, Malcolm Landgraab

Hugo Villareal who aged up married Raj Rasoya who had adopted 5 kids prior to marriage. I think Raj was tired of his controlling mother demanding he needed to get married and to spite her with her constantly setting him up with people asked Hugo to help him out. Since Hugo isn't a jerk like his brother Max and a good guy he was like sure and that is how they got married. That is what I think happened. Since I saw Raj with 5 kids he adopted one moment in the game and the next thing I knew Hugo was a young adult and married to him.

Lilith and Vlad are married. I think there is some hidden code in the game because if I keep Vlad Lilith almost always ends up with him without me doing anything to hook them up or anything like that

Dominic Fyres married Judith Ward. Did I mention she is the only one of the celebrities I actually like in the game?

Cassandra (Goth) and Wolfgang Munch got married. I really was rooting for them since the two of them almost always end up together in the games I play. I don't do anything to hook them up it just turns out that way. They make a very cute couple with similar traits. I had Alexander and Cassandra on their own and removed their parental ties but kept them brother and sister at the beginning of the game

Alexander (Goth) married Wolfgang's brother Lucas. Sometimes in games, I play, Alexander ends up straight in others he is gay. This time autonomous marriage hooked him up with Lucas Munch. Thankfully Lucas took Alexander's last name.

My sim Reginald Nighthawk (who is a vampire of course) is dating Brytani Cho. I set him up on a blind date hoping he wouldn't end up with one of the annoying celebrities with the dating mod and things have been working out well for him. His daughter Kali (also a vampire) has many romantic attachments and her dad wishes she wouldn't be so free-spirited and stick to dating one person at a time because it can cause too much drama and end up getting her stalked by crazy exes.

The control freak in my is dying :D; which is why I don't use MCCC....or any mods.

I do think there are some interesting pairings though. Alexander and Lucas are probably my two favorite premade kids, and Alexander makes a great husband.

For some reason I sort of saw Cassandra and Wolfgang being together. I actually like the entire Munch family to be honest. They're one of the very few premade families I play.

I don't allow MCCC to make any pairings. I tend to throw big parties, make friends, make flirtatious jokes, and see who is "in the pink" afterwards. Candy Behr recently became the girlfriend of Joaquin Le Chien this way.

Or sometimes I create a Sim especially for someone as I did for Mila.

I think couples most couples are randomized in the game. I think some have have a higher percentage of pairing up with each other in the end. Some like Jonny Zest, any of Partyhaus, Dennis Kim and Joaquin Le Chien have more random pairings than Lilith and Vlad or Cassandra and Wolfgang at least from my observation. I can't speak for other simmers out there. Even when I play vanilla because of updates until I feel confident enough to add mods back in Sims still pair up and have kids. I was surprized when taken away the marital ties of some that they would choose somebody else. I thought that Moira (Fyres) would still end up with Dominic Fyres because he seems more loyal devoted and loving towards Moira than Greggery Landgraab is with Nancy. I thought Mr Romero would still choose Miss Fyres who leads Paragon. I always forget her name but they are dating in the beginning of any new game except a few rare times. I can count on one hand the number of times they weren't dating in the beginning of a new game.

I think you can get similar progress if you turn on auto age for non played sims. They get married, have children, or even divorce and find new partner. I see a lot of interesting stories in my game. :D

That is so interesting. I actually married Zoe Patel to Malcolm in a previous game. And Bella + Marcus Flex?? Perfect couple! B)

I am letting the sims just pair up as they will.
