- well we got some news but we still don't know what the packs will be so I don't know if I'm looking forward to them or not
- Agreed, @comicsforlife.
I don't consider that news though, I mean it was clear that we will get one of either tbh now they just did what they did last year when they said you get this pack and this pack and this pack within the next six months. I don't expect them to give us 3 packs per 6 months but it would be unrealistic if we weren't getting at least one pack in a year. That being said, when I think of news I want to get some actual new info like theme of the pack or something I can get hyped over ( I know, even more unrealistic, considering this is kind of their selling point. randomly throwing out a pack, with enough info to get people to buy it but not enough to get them criticising in advance which would lead more people to not buying the pack) - LolzarellaRising Scout

I know people have been making a huge joke about TS5 recently on YouTube but its something that I would truly love to see. Something maybe with more realistic graphics, I guess like Second Life, because most people mod them in anyway.
I love the cartoony style in TS4. The thing I'm most sad when talking about TS5 is that we would have to get a new look for the game. I really hope it's not realistic style whenever it happens.
I love the cartoony look to Sims 4 too, it really fits with all the clever, funny little things going on in this game. - SimmervilleSeasoned AceIf we won't get any pack until after Summer, I can wait to get more info. But I did not fancy a lot how they advertised recent packs only couple weeks before release. Okay, so it might build a lot of hype because the small window, but I'd much prefer having a couple months to prepare my game for a new pack. Most packs I didn't get on release date because I would need to prepare stuff before playing it anyway. Might be because I play on rotation, or because of the way I play, not sure...

I am happy for you guys that love the cartoony look of the sims. I really want a more realistic look for sims 5. - Beardedgeek72New Spectator

Honestly quite likely I won't buy it then, even if they "somehow" avoid to make it online multiplayer. I really can't see any scenario where having a more realistic style wouldn't look really weird or really ugly. For me it would literally feel like playing with barbie dolls.
(but then I abhor Alpha CC to the point that I won't follow any youtuber that plays Sims with it installed). "Simmerville;c-17449586" wrote:

I'm pretty sure that's the only point of their releases/PR strategy. Sales are made on hype. I also prefer preparing my rotational BACC save for new expansions, so I feel you about the pace."Harukotyan;c-17449787" wrote:

Anyway, because previous packs were copies of concepts from TS3 and TS2, we should get something new. Fact that thy got rid of 32 bits restrictions, I'm hopeful :)
I'm looking forward to the next group of packs because they'll be something different. Should be interesting and fun <3
