With Cyberpunk and AC Valhalla literally releasing within weeks of this expansion - both of which cost $80 Canadian (so $60 US) and having been BURNED EVERY SINGLE TIME by EA discounting their newly released expansions for 20% or more off a month or two after its release - I'm going to wait until their "winter sale" to buy this expansion. I cannot tell you how frustrating it has been to buy almost EVERY expansion at 51.99 only to see it go on sale a month later! Regardless I know I'll eventually pick this up, but not for a while anyway, not with Valhalla and Cyberpunk dividing my time mid november. I do love the snow setting though, besides seasons I'd say this would be an easy buy for me...or would have been. Anybody else here feel burned by their month later discounts after you paid full price?

Will wait for deep deep discount. I have zero interest in snow gameplay. I am intrigued by new personality but not worth paying whole pack just for that.

Good idea! At least by then players will have been posting the bugs they experience. I almost always wait for a sale. I didn't for Eco Lifestyle, because the live stream looked so neat. But I sure felt burned when I started having all the bugs, especially the really frustrating NAP bugs. Never again. No matter how much I like what I see, I'm waiting for the bug reports.

Even if I didn’t swear off buying EA games, I have Pikmin 3, Zelda AoC, and AC Valhalla as just a few games that are must buys for me and would take precedence over that any day.

For what it seems to be, it's definitely overpriced. Content wise looks like a Game Pack, not Expansion Pack, though it's possible some major content in it is yet to be announced. As it stands though, I'll not buy at full price. If it was a Game Pack however, I'd buy day one.

I WILL buy Snowy expansion...but wait a month for its sale price.

It will be easier to wait this one out, despite my great interest in Lifestyles and Sentiments.
I currently have all the parts for a new computer build, except for a 3080 graphics card. (I have no idea when one will be in stock.)
So I am focused on that. I am building it for Cyberpunk 2077. I also plan to use it for VR with games like Elite Dangerous and Half Life: Alyx.
I will have plenty to keep me busy. I am also on vacation following Thanksgiving.

Not getting the other games, I really just play two games. Sims 4 when on my computer, Animal Crossing if I want to game elsewhere and need the portability or just have 10-15 minutes to spend.

I think the pack looks great. Similar style to Island Living which is my all time favourite Sims pack, and I am going to bundle it with Nifty Knitting. But even as a bundle which is discounted anyways I'm not 100% sure I won't wait as I don't know what game pack I want at this point. There's only two I don't have... Star Wars and Vampires. I know for sure I don't want vampires, but I haven't decided on if I want Star Wars yet, so I may wait until either a super good sale instead, or until the next game pack comes out and see what that is to bundle with it instead. Undecided haha.

I think you are going to have to wait until after Christmas/New Year for any reductions as I think this expansion will sell too well for that.

I prefer to wait for the 50% off sale. By the time it goes that low for the first time they have usually patched the big game-breaking bugs that came with the new pack also. Though they were pretty slow with the EL patches.
