Maxis has been trying to get away like a bandit charging $40 for glorified world packs with this pack and Island Living in particular. It might work on fans that are so deprived of content that they'll get anything to give their game a shot in the arm to make it fun for five minutes before they're back on the forum screaming at Maxis, but it does not work on me any more. Mind you, I'm not a cheap person in any capacity. I spend lots of money on games and expansions for other titles, so long as I feel they warrant purchasing. I'm burnt out on getting ripped off by Maxis, and it's really high time for them to step their game up.
I agree. This pack isn't no disaster like the ones we got this year so I'm thinking of purchasing too but honestly I cannot see how this is 40€, especially knowing that the snow and rental lots already existed before and didn't need to be worked on this time aound.
So it's during a sale for me too.
